Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, has given laptops and other smart devices to secondary schools in her district.

The handover happened on Monday, November 2, 2026, to mark her third year in the Senate.

Her media aide, Mike Idoko, announced it in a statement on Tuesday.

She visited four schools: OCSS Oboroke, Adavi Model Secondary School, Adavi Eba and Community Secondary School, Obangede.

She said education is one of the best investments a society can make and that where a child lives should not limit what they can learn.

She asked students to use the devices well and asked teachers to keep them in good condition.

The senator says her work in the constituency covers education, health, roads, water, farming, youth and women.

She has pushed for a Federal Medical Centre in Ihima through Senate Bill 521.

At Community Secondary School, Obangede, the chairman of the school's governing council, Dr Shehu Sule, praised her leadership and presented her with an award for her commitment to education and to girls and young people.
