The Jigawa State Hisbah Board has arrested three women it says were using drugs during a raid at Quba, a residential apartment complex in Maigatari Local Government Area.
The women, aged 19, 21 and 24, were picked up by officials from the board's Maigatari branch.
A team led by Malam Abdullahi Ibrahim Galadi carried out the operation.
According to the board's statement, the suspects were taken to its office for questioning.
After the investigation, officials counselled them on the dangers of drug abuse and the need to live a decent life.
The board said it will keep up its work against what it describes as social vices across the state.
