Ikeja Electric has said sorry to their top tiers customers for not giving them hours of electricity they promised.
The company failed to meet the minimum daily supply of 20 hours on November 3 and 4, 2026.
The apology was posted on the company's official account on Thursday.
In the notice, Ikeja Electric said it regretted not being able to provide the expected minimum service level to customers on the affected feeders over the two days.
Band A customers are entitled to at least 20 hours of electricity a day under the regulated tariff structure.
This means the affected customers did not get the power they should have received.
The latest apology comes after repeated reports of power shortages affecting some Band A customers on the Ikeja Electric network.
The company has not yet said which feeders were affected or what caused the disruption.
Ikeja Electric also issued a safety warning.
It told residents not to trade, build or put up structures under or near power lines, as this can put lives and property at risk.
The company urged people to keep the recommended safe distance from power lines and to ask it for safety guidance through its official channels.
"Stay clear. Stay safe.
We care about you" the company said.
Dear Esteemed Customer, We apologize for falling short of the expected minimum service level of 20 hours on the Band A feeders below for November 3rd and 4th, 2026 https://t.co/sPbduymOoz
