Telecommunication giants MTN has suffered an irreparable damage from a fire incident that destroyed its warehouse in the commercial capital of Nigeria, Lagos.
The warehouse of MTN, one of Nigeria’s mobile network providers, off Acme Road (behind Zenith Bank), Lagos went up in flames today.
The fire started at the early hours, persisted till afternoon and escalated into a serious inferno that razed parts of the building roof.
It took efforts of two fire service trucks to put the fire out and several police officers to control the crowd.
