The minister of Transport, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi has been left embarrassed after the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu publicly disagreed with him over a myopic idea.

The Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu set aside politics for the interest of the country to correct a myopic and twisted reasoning of the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi as he insisted that the government would do whatever is necessary to develop infrastructure in the south-south.
This view was as a result of insinuations by Amaechi that his ministry will discontinue with the construction of the Nigerian Maritime University because he cannot believe the whopping sum used in purchasing land for the construction of the university.
Kachikwu corrected such reasoning as he said you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
