Online reports and social media posts have revealed that there was an unrest at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic in Owo, Ondo State, as police allegedly kill 2 students.

While chasing an okada man yesterday evening, the Nigerian Police in Owo LGA of Ondo State, allegedly killed a Rufus Giwa Polythecnic student which prompted the students blocking road leading to the town and school front gate until Sunday morning.
It was also gathered online and social media that the police shot one of the student again this morning, and was becoming worse as the Acting Rector fell while runnning for his dear life in hearing the sporadic gun shot by the police, on his way to the said police station to inquire about what is happening.
