Traders locked outside the market gate

Traders at the popular Alade market located at Allen avenue, Ikeja arrived early this morning, 21st of June, 2016 only to meet the market under lock and key.

Some of the traders said it has become a regular occurrence since the planned relocation of the market by the Lagos state Government.

According to the traders, government officials come up with all kinds of reasons to lock up the market and then re-open it when they please.

There is no official statement by the Governor Akinwunmi Ambode-led administration of the All Progressives Congress yet.
