Having enough s*x could be the secret to happiness which many people do not know about. A new study has shown interesting details about this.
Do you know having more s*x could help save your life? That is so true.
According to a
new research, the more s*x you have, the higher your happiness level increases. The research conducted by David G. Blanchflower and Andrew J. Oswald of the NATIONAL BUREAU OF ECONOMIC RESEARCH, studied the links between income, sexual behavior and reported happiness.
Using a data of about 16,000 Americans from the US General Social Survey, it revealed that sexual activity enters strongly positively in happiness equations. Greater income does not buy more s*x, nor more sexual partners. The typical American has sexual intercourse 2-3 times a month. Married people have more s*x than those who are single, divorced, widowed or separated. Sexual activity appears to have greater effects on the happiness of highly educated people than those with low levels of education.
The happiness-maximizing number of sexual partners in the previous year is calculated to be 1. Highly educated females tend to have fewer sexual partners. Homosexuality has no statistically significant effect on happiness. Females who have sex once a month or less experience reductions in happiness.
But men, who have sex once a month or less have marginal gains in happiness.
And as the number of times both men and women have sex increases, so does their happiness. This is also true for those who are under and over the age of 40.
The data also revealed that more money doesn't mean more sex. Researchers tested the effect of income on the number of sexual partners and sexual frequency and found no statistically significant relationship.
