Several musicians are said to have tragically died after their boat turned over in a lake killing them at once.

Willy Lugusa, the head of police in the Nyanza region Kenya, has disclosed that 9 musicians lost their lives yesterday June 25th.
According to him, they died after their boat capsized on the Kenyan side of Lake Victoria while 17 other passengers in the vessel were rescued.
"The bodies of the nine are yet to be recovered. We believe they are dead for now," Lugusa said.
Police said the boat was carrying artists of the Boyieta Wuod Awasi music group to Ndenda Island in western Kenya, where the group was expected to perform Saturday evening.
The group is very popular in the region.
