Abia has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons lately over the political tussle between Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, the newly sacked governor over a case of alleged forgery of tax documents and his opponent at the People's Democratic Party gubernatorial primaries, Uche Sampson Ogah.
Ogah who was the second runner-up has been issued a Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission's state Commissioner representing the south-east in the person of Lawrence Nwuruku who has been embroiled in a legal tussle for taking such an action.
