Unconfirmed news emerging on social media reveal operatives of the anti-graft agency, EFCC have traced some illicit funds to the bank account of Governor Ayodele Fayose's son who is reportedly on the run from the law.

Online newspaper, Sahara Reporters has revealed startling details about the progress of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in the EkitiGate saga which has heavily indicted the governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Peter Fayose.
According to reports, the EFCC has traced a whooping sum of N200 million to the bank account of Fayose's son named Rogba Fayose.
This discovery which was bound to necessitate an arrest has prompted Rogba to flee the country to Brussels in Belgium beyond the reach of the law.
Further reports also have it that Abiodun Agbele who is Fayose's close ally that was instrumental in the covert laundering of money has been singing in the EFCC custody which has unraveled the mystery behind some slush funds traced to his principal.
Sahara Reporters also stated that some ostentatious properties purchased by Fayose have been uncovered by fraud investigators including some two properties in the highly coveted Victoria Island area of Lagos costing N1.1 billion through a female estate agent and also others in Abuja since he became the governor of the state in 2014.
It is also worthy of note that Fayose's personal bank accounts with Zenith bank Plc have remained frozen by the anti-graft body over suspicion of massive fraud leading to another round of legal tussle which is yet to be concluded.
The highly vocal governor is yet to issue a statement concerning the grievous allegations leveled against him which has flooded the media space.
