Three soldiers attached to the Special Task Force (STF) on Jos crisis were also allegedly injured in the clash, and are now laying critical in the hospital.
Chairman of Berom Youth Moulders (BYM), Samson Tsok blamed the recent hostilities on the herders whom he said swamped on the village of Foron on Tuesday night. “Foron was attacked by the Fulani herdsmen last Tuesday night when two of our boys were killed in the attack while four other people are still missing till this moment.”
“Early this morning, some soldiers of the Special Task Force (STF) suddenly stormed the village for search without notifying us; we felt under siege.
“The soldiers came in the company of some Fulani who were pointing to houses the soldiers should ransack. At the end of the so-called search, they did not tell us if they found anything.”
