The executive Governor of Oyo state, Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi of the All Progressives Congress led an entourage to the home of the slain Oyo House of Assembly member on a condolence visit.

Governor Abiola Ajimobi, deputy governor Otunba Moses Alake-Adeyemo and the chief of staff -paid a condolence visit to the family of slain Oyo lawmaker in Ibadan.
The lawmaker, who was said to have recently completed his doctoral degree at the University of Ilorin, and was due to officially graduate next week, was shot by two unknown assailants a few meters away to his Alakia residence in Ibadan.
According to reports, the lawmaker was murdered very close to his house by the three assailants, who rode on a motorcycle, stating that they seemed to have trailed the lawmaker to his residence, before they crossed his car and opened fire on him around 9pm.
