The government of Yobe has been making frantic efforts to secure public gatherings for the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
Top government officials in Yobe state have assembled to observe the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer session at the Yobe mosque Eid ground in the Damaturu area of the state.
The state government mounted security agents at strategic spots as the religious programme progressed to avoid incidents of Boko Haram attacks which has plagued the state for years.
Yobe Deputy Gov. Abubakar Aliyu with the All Progressives Congress National Secretary Maimala Buni, Speaker Adamu Dala Dogo, SSG Baba Malam Wali were present for the proceeding.
