Liverpool has announced the signing of Southampton defender, Nathaniel Clyne.
The 24-year old player has penned a long-term contract at Anfield as manager Brendan Rodgers plans for the 2015-16 season.
Liverpool had an initial bid of £10 million for Clyne rejected in May, but returned with a higher offer that will see Southampton receive an initial fee of £12.5 million.
The right-back made 94 Premier League appearances for Southampton, after joining the club from Crystal Palace in 2012.
Clyne, who had been linked with Manchester United, told his new club's official website: "I'm delighted and it's a dream move for me to come here and play for such a big club with all of its history. I can't wait to get started.
"As soon as Liverpool showed their interest in me, I was happy and just wanted the deal to go through.
