Niger Delta Avengers Attacks Again, Destroys Chevron Oil Manifolds in Delta State

The Niger Delta Avengers has claimed responsibility for the bombing of Chevron oil manifolds in Delta State destroying assets worth millions.

The dreaded militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, on Wednesday bombed Chevron Manifolds in Delta State. According to its spokesperson, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, the attack took place between the hours of 10:50pm to 11:10pm.

A statement on its website said: "Between the hours of 10:50pm to 11:10pm our (Niger Delta Avengers) strike team blew up Chevron Manifolds. the manifolds are RMP 22, 23 and 24.

"Happy Eid Mubarak to our Muslim Brothers."

However, the group has denied claims it bombed the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, pipeline at Eleme leading to the Nigeria Liquefied National Gas, NLNG in Rivers state.

The group called on impostors using fake Facebook accounts to desist from it.
