A man and his wife have been brutally affected by a fire which took over their home at night while they slept.

Moses Ali, the man in the photo above, and his wife Zainab have been killed.
They were killed after a fire broke out overnight at their home killing them and burning down the house.
According to Zuma Times Hausa, the sad incident occurred in the town of Kontagora in Niger State.
The fire reportedly occurred at about one o'clock at night and the cause hasn't been determined yet.
