Nigerian soldiers combating the Boko Haram sect in the northern part of Nigeria celebrated the Eid festival amidst threats of Boko Haram attacks.
These are Nigerian soldiers facing unfavourable conditions so that Nigerians could sleep well at night with their two eyes closed.
The troops marked the end of the Ramadan with special Eid prayers at the battlefield with guns mounted around them to arrest promptly any reprisal attack.
Boko Haram fighters are decimated daily through the land and air in the Sambisa area of Borno which is their stronghold.
