Sokoto Stands Still as the Dead Body of ex Presidential Candidate Arrives from London (Photos)

The corpse of a late ex presidential candidate of Nigeria, has arrived from London where he passed away.

The remains of Umaru shinkafi, a former Presidential aspirant, who died at a hospital in London on Wednesday July 6th, has arrived Nigeria.

The body arrived Sokoto International airport this morning and was received by the state governor, Aminu Tambuwal, Zamfara state governor AbdulAzeez Yari and other Northern state governors.

Shinkafi died after battling multiple diseases that affected his internal organs.

He is survived by three wives and five children.

One of his daughters Zainab Bagudu is the first lady of Kebbi state while another of his daughters, Hadiza Yari is married to Zamfara state governor, AbdulAzeez Yari.
