Benue 'Swims' as Massive Flood Ravages the State...See Photos

Flood has ravaged a local community in Makurdi, Benue State after a heavy downpour that has left residents in distress.

Benue has joined the list of Nigerian states majorly affected by flood;  Adamawa, Rivers, Lagos and others

The pictures were taken of the first reported flood in Makurdi in 2016, which affected many parts of the metropolis on 11 July.
 
This environmental disaster has attracted the attention of the Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources & Environment, Hon. Nike Wende who has visited the affected Gyado Villa to estimate the damage and proffer possible solutions.
