Armed robbery cases in the Ikotun area of Lagos state seem to fast becoming unbearable as the residents have cried out for help.

Armed robbers went on rampage in the Ikotun area of Lagos last night according to reports. They went away with money and valuables and it has become something of a regular occurrence.
Sources confirmed that various reports have been made to the relevant authorities in the past but last night's attack was the last straw that broke the camel's back. The occupants of houses around Ikotun this morning, turned out en masse to report this criminal act.
Meanwhile, officials of the Rapid Response Squad has confirmed the arrest of one of the hoodlums that perpetrated the recent attack.
