The Blues are set to secure the signature of French international, N'Golo Kante after a successful season at Leicester.

Chelsea are hoping to clinch the signing of N’Golo Kante over the weekend after the midfielder told Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri that he wants to leave.
As revealed by Telegraph Sport, Chelsea made a £29million bid for Kante this week and Ranieri confirmed it is up to the player whether or not he wants to quit the Premier League champions.
Kante has informed Ranieri and Leicester that he wants to go, with Chelsea pushing to complete a deal as quickly as possible – even if it means increasing their offer to hit the £30m mark.
The Blues are hoping to conclude negotiations over the weekend and make Kante their second summer signing, following the capture of striker Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
Kante, who is expected to sign a five-year Stamford Bridge contract, has been earmarked to provide much-needed energy in Chelsea’s midfield and is seen as a key part of new head coach Antonio Conte’s rebuilding programme.
Chelsea suffered problems in the middle of the park last season, with Nemanja Matic particularly struggling for form, and 25-year-old Kante should solve that issue and give the side better balance.
