It has been revealed that ex Nigerian international forward, Chinedu Obasi who played for Nigeria at the 2010 World Cup, has disappeared from his foreign club.

30-year-old former Super Eagles player, Chinedu Obasi’s comeback to international football has been thrown into doubt, after he walked out of Nowergian club, Lillestrom.
 
According to reports, the Nigerian attacking midfielder whose career has been ravaged by injuries, was released by Bundesliga club, Schalke 04 last year, and has been training with Lillestrom for more than a month.
 
It was gathered that the player has yet to be offered a contract, despite reports he was close to signing for them. Frustrated by the club’s hesitation, the forward who played for Nigeria at the 2010 World Cup, has left.
 
A source informed AfricanFootball.com, "He left without any notice, in short he disappeared. He had yet to be given a contract by the club after he trained with them for more than a month."
