Just In: Channels TV CEO, John Momoh Makes History, Elected as BON Chairman

Channels Television Chief Executive Officer, John Momoh has been elected chairman of the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria.

 
The Chairman of Channels Media Group, John Momoh (OON) has been elected as the Chairman of the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON).
 
At the annual delegate conference on Wednesday in Abuja, Momoh beat his opponent by polling 51 votes against Abbas Dalhatu from Freedom Radio, Kano who scored 12 votes.
 
This is the first time a private television media owner would be holding this position.
