An Islamic religious leader, Sheikh Zirajudeen Folohunsho Asukuna has released touching photos of his emotional encounter with seriously sick Mayowa Ahmed who is currently receiving treatment at the LUTH pending on her imminent trip abroad.

Following the controversy which is trailing the #SaveMayowa campaign, the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, has been flooded with Nigerians who have stormed the venue to confirm the authenticity of the fund-raising campaign.
Mayowa Ahmed, a graduate of the university of Lagos who is suffering from cancer was pictured praying with Sheikh Sheikh Zirajudeen Folohunsho Asukuna LUTH during his visit recently as he seeks divine intervention for the helpless young lady.
According to Sheikh Zirajudeen Folohunsho Asukuna, Mayowa's case is not a scam and he hopes she would pull through and share her story at the end of the day.
Nigerians are currently divided as to whether Mayowa Ahmed's family really used her predicament to scam Nigerians to the tune of over $100,000 meant for her treatment.
