A Lagos-based Chinese man has allegedly hanged himself to the iron window in his room as controversies continue to trail the reason why he committed suicide.

According to a report on Nigerian Tribune, a 50-year-old Chinese national, Si Guicai, has hanged himself to the iron window of his apartment at 9:00 p.m on Friday in Itohan Avenue, in Ikeja area of Lagos.
It was gathered that no one could really say the reason for his decision, as he was just found dead the following morning.
SP Dolapo Badmos, the Lagos state police spokesperson, who confirmed the incident, said: “One Si Guicai, a Chinese, allegedly hanged himself to the iron window in his room.
“A team of policemen attached to Man-centre division visited, examined and photographed the scene, while corpse was removed and deposited at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja morgue for autopsy while investigation is ongoing.”
