A Nigerian gay man David Ukre, who hails from Warri, Delta State, got married to his white partner Eric T. Shoen in New York, on Saturday July 30th, 2016.
This has attracted massive criticisms by Nigerians who term the romance as an affront on the Nigerian Constitution that frowns at homosexuality.
Homosexuality in Nigeria attracts a lengthy jail term of 14 years and a minimum of 7 years for individuals aiding and abetting homosexuals.
