Ogun Militancy: See the Number of Soldiers Guarding the Governor as He Visits Restive Area (Photos)

All Progressives Congress chieftain, Ibikunle Amosun has visited the militants-ravaged areas in Ogun, South-western part of Nigeria.

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday, visited Ebute-Ibafo and Ogijo, two of the communities affected by the recent activities of suspected militants in Ogun State.

The governor's visit came on the heels of ongoing military operation against the militants who had recently terrorised the communities. The Governor was heavily guarded by a combined team of Nigerian soldiers, men of the secret service, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp and the police.

In the course of the visit, the governor assured residents of their security while advising them to cooperate with security operatives. The pictures and the brief report was shared by Adejuwon Soyinka, Senior Special Assistant (Media) - Ogun State Governor.
