A couple has yesterday, lost their house and two children to a fire started by a lit candle in Ikot Usen in Akwa Ibom State.

Multiple reports making rounds online has revealed that the residence of one Mr & Mrs Francis Ekanem, located at No. 7 Esu Lane in the Ikot Usen area of Ibiono LGA of Akwa Ibom state was razed down by fire, and their two children burnt to death, yesterday, August 1, by fire which was allegedly caused by a candle light.
