Amidst the widely reported threats by Governor Ayo Fayose over the Halliburton bribery scandal, the president's wife, Aisha Buhari has landed in the United States of America and was received by Nigerians in diaspora.
Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has received a hero's welcome from Nigerians in diaspora on Wednesday evening as she arrived in Washington DC on a weeklong visit via a British Airways flight from London.
The president's wife who is billed to attend a number of events in the area, was expected to have arrived in the United Stastes two days ago, but was held back by official delays in Nigeria.

Aisha Buhari is expected during her visit to attend meetings at the George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She will also be hosted by the United States Institute of Peace, in collaboration with Voice of America, and attend the 25th Anniversary celebration of Zumunta Association USA Inc.
