The serene Yimi village in Zuba, Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has been brought to limelight by a predatory adult who allegedly had a carnal knowledge of his 16-year old daughter forcefully.
An unnamed predatory adult at Yimi village in Zuba, Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has been arrested following a rape act of his underage daughter.
According to DailyTrust, he sexually abused his 16-year old daughter. The disgraceful incident happened last Wednesday at 9:23 pm when the man knocked on the door of the room his daughters slept and ordered the girl to follow him which she did.
On getting to his room, he instructed her to take off her clothes. He then raped her, threatening to kill if if her mother gets to know. The innocent girl reportedly left the room bleeding. This came to the knowledge of her mother who questioned her severally but she wasn't ready to share a word with her.
After dueinterrogation by the villante team in the village, she confessed her father had raped her. Her father was reportedly summoned and the issue was resolved. The daughter was taken to the hospital for treatment according to a vigilante who talked under anonymity.
The unrepentant man went as far as trying to divorce his wife due to her knowledge of the dirty act but he was deterred by external interferences.
The drama of child rape seems to be becoming contagious in the village as another culprit who is reportedly cooling his heels in the police cell also raped an 8 year old girl at Minister’s Hill area of Zuba who was a bean-cake seller.
