Police Disperse Protesting Youths With Live Bullets In Kaduna (Photos)

The appointment of the interim caretaker chairman of Chikun local government area,Hajiya Hadiza Yahuza was greeted by massive protests from angry youths who are reportedly being dispersed by the police using live bullets.

The police in Kaduna have adopted the hard method by employing the usage of live bullets to disperse protesting youths.

The youth, who were protesting the appointment of the interim caretaker chairman of Chikun local government area, Hajiya Hadiza Yahuza, appointed by the Governor Nair el-Rufai  had blocked the ‎major roads leading to Chikun local government area of the State.

Heavily armed policemen were promptly deployed to maintain peace in the area, and they have reportedly resorted to the use of teargas and live bullets.
