A woman has stunned people with her choice of bridesmaid after she went ahead to invite a most unlikely person.
A young woman identified as Christine Quinn in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, who was about to get married did something unexpected.
She asked her 89-year-old grandma, Nana Betty to be her bridesmaid and the old woman said yes!
According to
Huffington Post, Quinn revealed that her grandma kept asking her if she was sure she wanted an old woman to be on her train.
“She asked me about 10 times, ‘Are you sure?’ and ‘Why would you want an old lady in your bridal party?” Christine Quinn said.
“She had the entire wedding party laughing with her words of wisdom and funny comments throughout the day.”
“Nana got on the party bus with the rest of the wedding party instead of ‘going home to rest’ but did not tell my mom (her daughter). She also danced the entire night away, including an adorable moment when she and my husband’s grandmother, Bellsie, danced together. It was amazing.
“You’re only as old as you feel and I feel young today,” Nana said.
