Nofisat Adebowale, a final year student of the Lagos State University met her untimely death in a ghastly accident which led to her being crushed by a speeding vehicle.

The untimely death has occurred of a promising final year student of the Lagos State University (LASU) named Nofisat Adebowole who died in a ghastly road mishap.
 
The victim, a student of Physical and Health Education was plying the Lasu-Isheri road, Odo Eran bus stop in a commercial vehicle yesterday,  the 6th of July, 2015 when a stray cow reportedly escaping from some butchers stormed the road accidently. The driver of the vehicle that Nofisat was in swerved fastly to avoid the cow.
 
Accidentally, the door of the vehicle flung open as a result of the impact. The deceased who was unluckily sitting by the door was thrown out on the road leading to her being flung out into the road and her head terribly smashed by an on-coming speeding vehicle.
 
The news broke just as the students of the institution were planning a protest to the state house (Alausa) Lagos state on the postponement of their first semester exams which was supposed to start today (6th July, 2015).
 
Her body has since been taken to a Lagos mortuary.
