Former Nigerian President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has sent a congratulatory message to the U-23 team also called Dream Team for posing an excellent performance at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The Dream Team has reached the quarter-finals of the men's football competition after beating Denmark 2-0.
Jonathan wrote on his Facebook: "I am so proud of our Dream Team whose victory over Denmark has pushed them through to the medal rounds. "#ProudlyNaija‬. GEJ."
