Just as he returned to his club side after spending holidays in Nigeria, a young Nigerian footballer died yesterday while training with Azerbaijani First Division club, Zagatala PFK.

According to a shocking report by Goal.com, a 20-year-old Nigerian footballer, Michael Umanyika, has been reported dead during training session with Azerbaijani First Division club, Zaqatala PFK.
The midfield youngster who just returned to the country after spending holidays in Nigeria, was reported to have suddenly stopped and fell during training with his Azerbaijani club while all efforts to revive him proved abortive, as he slumped and lost his life.

The deceased, Umanyika joined the Azerbaijani top flight in 2015 where he made 20 appearances for the team during the 2015/16 season.
