A man who had the nerve to beat up an official of the FRSC has ended up getting much more than he bargained for.

The man identified as one Okonkwo Kenneth has been arraigned in court.
Leadership reports that the man was arraigned in an Abuja Grade 1 Area Court yesterday for assaulting a Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officer while on duty in broad daylight.
According to the prosecutor, BabajideOlanipekun, DSP, Mr Kenneth’s action contravened section 267and 243 of the penal code law.
That on June, 10, 2016 one Ukikaegbu Prince of Federal Road Safety Corps Kubwa unit, Abuja, reported the case at Kubwa Police station.
The prosecutor also said that while the complainant was officially on duty within the court jurisdiction, “you Okonkwo Kenneth of Utako, Abuja, who was driving Jaguar car with registration number MUS 908 GL along liberty junction, was intercepted by a team of Road Safety Corps officers for road traffic violation, but you acted in a violent manner and dragged, manhandled and assaulted Olaniran Ogedengbe.”
When the charges were read to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Meanwhile, the judge, Mohammed Marafa adjourned the case to Friday, August 19, 2016 for ruling.
