A woman has mysteriously died and her dead body was found in a swimming pool, after a night of partying with her boyfriend.
A 27-year-old woman has mysteriously died at Hilton Hotel on Thursday morning after a night out party with an American pilot.
Her body was recovered by the police from the Hilton hotel swimming pool at around 5am in the morning.
The Kenyans reports that the woman had been partying in Westlands with her American boyfriend, who is a pilot at EgyptAir, before they went to the hotel in the morning.
Police Boss Japheth Koome said: “The incident took place when the woman who is Kenyan and her boyfriend were at the Hilton hotel where they had checked in at dawn. They had been partying during the night and had frequented two clubs in Westlands."
Koome added that it was the boyfriend and another lady who discovered the body after they went to check on her.
“The three were in their room when the lady decided to go for a swim. The boyfriend and the other friend later came out and found her in the swimming pool,” Koome was quoted by Capital.
The Nairobi police boss noted that investigations had been launched and the boyfriend, the other lady and the hotel staff would record statements.
The body has been transferred to a mortuary in the city.
