Following the alleged killing of a student by a police officer in Abeokuta, chaos has taken over the town.

Commotion took over Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State recently after Students of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) took to the streets to protest.

The students were protesting against serial cases of robbery incidents in the school and the school management's attitude towards their plight.

The protest, however, turned violent along the line, with policemen allegedly killing at least a student.

The students in retaliation have blocked the Abeokuta-Ibadan highway and also reportedy burnt down the Vice Chancellor's church bus.

The school has now been shutdown to prevent a further total breakdown of law and order.
