A man has been brutally beaten by students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State for allegedly stealing Tecno phone during protest.
The incident which happened on Thursday saw some of the students demonstrate over alleged incessant robbery attacks on school hostels within and outside the campus.
The thief was caught while trying to escape after stealing a Tecno M3 phone during the protest at Oluwo, Abeokuta, Ogun state.
He was beaten black and blue by students who were already aggrieved due to the increasing rate of robbery attacks in the area. He was later handed over to the police.
