A Lagosian has taken to micro-blogging site, Twitter on the 21st of August to report the excesses of an unidentified guardian to the State Governor after the ward was subjected to an excruciating physical violence.

A young boy currently resident at Olorunishola Street, Oshodi, Lagos is presently suffering a threatening domestic violence in the hands of a custodian with evidence of massive scars on the kid's body caused by intense brutality.

A concerned man named Michael Adesokan showcased the boy's pictures in a Twitter message to the executive Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode calling for help before he is killed or permanently maimed.

The rate of domestic violence in Nigeria seems on the increase with house-helps at the receiving end. A public call is currently being made to responsible government agencies, well-meaning Nigerians and other Non-Governmental Organizations to probe into the physical abuse and rescue the child from his alleged tormentor.
