Nigerian Footballer Sani Kaita Goes Missing

According to the management of FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi, ex Super Eagles footballer,Sani Kaita is reportedly missing after he left the club without notice.

Ex Super Eagles midfielder Sani Kaita has been declared missing by the management of FC Ifeanyi Ubah of Nnewi. According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Sani Kaita signed a three year deal with the club side in May, 2015.
 
The club's coach John Obu reports that the midfielder of Hausa decent disappeared from the club on Monday in Awka. This according to him has affected the club in their match against the Shooting Stars Football Club of Ibadan on Sunday. Sani Kaita left the coach in the dark concerning his whereabout since on the 1st of July in Owerri when the team played against Heartland football club of Port Harcourt.
 
According to John Obu, the player's case will be reported to the League Management Company (LMC) if he fails to avail himself.
  
“What happened is, when we travelled to Port Harcourt, we were to leave immediately after the game and he was not part of those of us who left and up till now, we have not seen him.

“But, I don’t need to look for him, he needs to tell me where he is. If he fails to tell me where he is, then we will report to LMC of his absconding’’,
Obu said.
 
Sani Kaita is a fairly successful Nigerian footballer that has done well both nationally and internationally. He is a former Enyimba International midfielder. He has played for Sparta Rotterdam (Holland), Monaco (France), Olympiakos (Greece), Lokomotiv Moscow, Kuban Krasnodar, FC Alaniya, Tavriya (all in Russia) and Metalist Khakiv (Ukraine).
