A coroner's inquest court in Lagos State has indicted the head of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B. Joshua over the tragic collapse of his building that killed over a hundred people.

The General overseer of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B. Joshua, has been indicted by a coroner’s inquest court in Lagos State today over last year’s deadly collapse of a guesthouse in his church premises that claimed over 120 lives.

Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe, who presided over the inquest, decided to indict the building contractor, a Divisional Police Officer (DPO), and Prophet T.B. Joshua's church.

The coroner recommended that the contractor be prosecuted for doing a shady and unprofessional job. The magistrate also ruled that the DPO in Ikotun area, Alaba Haruna, should be transferred out of the area for not allowing proper investigation into the case.

The magistrate also said the Church, headed by Prophet Joshua should be duly investigated for culpability in the faulty building construction.
