The Nigerian Army in its effort to combat militancy has paraded the streets of Delta State with armoured tanks and military vehicles.

The Nigerian Army has started full operation after it launched "Operation Crocodile Smile" in the Niger Delta against militants. Nigerian Army Armoured tanks could be seen in the streets of Delta State.
The Army says part of the aims of the new operation is to provide adequate security for residents in the region as well as critical national economic assets in the region.
