A pastor has suffered a horrible tragedy after his new car got engulfed in flames in pitiable circumstances.
The pastor, identified as Peter Ochuka, has lost his new car to a fire.
Pastor Ochuka's new car crashed and burst into flames while being driven by a teenage car-wash worker at Kisumu's Lwang'ni beach.
According to SDE, Pastor Ochuka of Voice of Salvation and Healing Church is said to have given the teenager the car keys to go and wash the vehicle but the boy took a leisure drive along Obiote Road where he hit two stationery vehicles, yesterday afternoon.
The boy, only identified as Odhiambo, tried to flee the scene but only managed to crash the car in a ditch. He escaped on foot as the car was engulfed in flames. Police are looking for the boy.
