Boko Haram Prisoners To Be Relocated From Anambra - Gov Obiano

Gov. Obiano of Anambra State has assured indigenes and residents that the Boko Haram prisoners that were recently transferred to the Ekwulobia Prison will soon be relocated from the state.

 
The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano has re-assured residents of the state that the Boko Haram prisoners who are currently locked up at the Ekwulobia Prison in the Aguata Local Government Area of the state would soon be relocated.
 
Obiano made the statement on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, after a successful security meeting held with a 7-man delegation from the National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki.
 
“I want to reassure you that the meeting went very well. The various communities in Anambra, the markets, the car Unions, the churches, our traditional institutions and others made a great point to them that we want this people removed and removed immediately,” Obiano said.
 
“They have reassured that they will take up our message back to Abuja and that this people will be removed very soon" he added.
 
The security meeting was attended by traditional rulers, religious leaders, town union executives and market leaders.
