Embattled leader of the PDP has ran to Obasanjo allegedly over the leadership crisis that has bedeviled the party in recent times.
A factional national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sheriff, is holding a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, in his Abeokuta Presidential Hilltop residence this morning.
Sheriff arrived at the former president’s residence at 11.04am in a convoy of four Sport Utility vehicles.
He rode in a Mercedez Benz AMG with the number plate AAA 673 BL.
The details of the meeting has not yet been made public,but it would be recalled that in recent months, Sheriff and a faction of the PDP leadership have been in legal tussle for the leadership of the party which has made it impossible for the party to carry out it's convention which was supposed to have held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State last month.
