Nigeria's Monthly Mobile Phone Sales Estimated At N4.4bn

The mobile phone buying culture in Nigeria is apparently on the rise as the total monthly sales of handset has been estimated at N4.4bn.

The amount of mobile phones sold in Nigeria on a monthly basis has been estimated around $20 million.
 
Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of BLU Nigeria, the sole distributor of a US-based BLU mobile phones, Stephen Fevrier, who also described the country to be very environmentally friendly to most devices that are imported in the country, said some of the world’s leading mobile phone brands are already in the Nigerian market
 
 
 
He howver stated that despite the influx of foreign phone brands in the country,BLU’s unique design, quality and affordable price give it an edge over the other brands.
 
“If you look at most of the specs, you can compare the phone to Samsung and Apple, and not with these other phones that litter the market in Nigeria.

There are three major selling points of the BLU phone and they are design, quality and affordable price. There is a phone for everybody in BLU mobile,” he said.
