A policeman who was struggling to take control of the steering of a commercial vehicle has reportedly lost his hand following a fatal accident that happened afterwards.
A very overzealous police officer was trying to collect his usual bribe somewhere in Lagos yesterday when he suddenly became an amputee.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of the bus had been stopped by a team of police officers somewhere in Lagos and while trying to speed off, the police officer jumped on the tail of the vehicle and while trying to shake him off, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a culvert, throwing the driver off while the bus somersaulted.
The condition of the driver is still unknown at the time of this report.
