Lagos has been adversely affected by the incidents of flood which has attracted the attention of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency that has been rescuing victims from ravaged areas.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA workers were recently pictured rescuing trapped Residents due to flood at Akesan Igando, area of the commercial capital of Nigeria.
Lagos has over the years paid heavily in repercussions for poor town planning system as well as poor drainage facilities that has made house vulnerable to flood.
Residents of the Igando area have remained trapped in their houses with properties destroyed thereby necessitating the attention of LASEMA.
